The message board doesn’t seem to like apostrophes in links, like the one in “earth’s.” It just won’t make a working hotlink past the apostrophe, and the link is no good without the apostrophe. You’ll just have to copy-and-paste.

It seems you have to enter this in its entirety:
https://news.rutgers.edu/earth%E2%80%99 ... s/20180502

Aha! You have to use the ASCII encoding for the apostrophe, the “%E2%80%99” string in this case (similar to the “%20” for a space). These % codes usually appear only in Internet Explorer. Other browsers use the converted value. In my case, only the apostrophe itself is present with Firefox, Chrome or Safari. That’s why it’s best to stay away from offbeat characters in URLs — e.g., don’t use a space, use a dash or underscore instead to avoid the %20, which can cause problems in other areas, and Rutgers should have skipped the apostrophe, it’s a URL, not a grammar lesson.

You can also get there by going to https://news.rutgers.edu and then clicking on the "Earth's Orbital Changes Have Influenced Climate, Life Forms For at Least 215 Million Years" link.
