Yesterday evening (November 2, 2016), the thin crescent moon was close to Venus and Saturn in a moderately cloudy sky after sunset. The attached picture of them was captured at 6:36 pm EDT. Venus is obvious at the bottom left. Saturn is decidedly dimmer and difficult to see in the murky sky. It's slightly higher than Venus and a bit to the left of the moon.
