although it wasn't the best transparency we had nice skies.Astra members were Vic,Bill E.,John, Bob,Sarah,Erin and Bill M.The campers totaled over 25 people including children. The tents were set up as were our telescopes. The families came over and we showed the Alberio,Gamma Andromeda,NGC7160 (the Gator),NGC 457 (the dragonfly,NGC6826 the blinking planetary and a few other items. They built the campfire and then we had a beautiful pass of the ISS. The families also saw a few shooting stars. Then Jason the head naturalist, took the families for an night time nature walk in the forest. Sarah and her niece Erin joined then. While they were gone we did some observing and camaraderie among the Astra members. It was a chilly night and the familes retired to their tents. Sarah,Bob and I went to the campfire to toast some marshmallows. Then we chatted with the Naturalists Jason, Michelle and Ben .We packed up and finished the night with a snack at the local diner. A great time was had by all!!!
